Is there any latest notification of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) Ph.D. entrance examination is release, if yes then tell me the eligibility criteria and the application process to apply for this exam? tell me the date of issue of application form of this entrance exam?

As per my searching I was not founded any new notification of IARI for PhD entrance.

Online applications in the prescribed forms are invited for admission to Ph.D programmes in the various disciplines of Agriculture Sciences at IARI, New Delhi and discipline of Agricultural Engineering at CIAE, Bhopal and disciplines of Horticulture and Post Harvest Technology at IIHR, Bengaluru

Here I’m providing you last year entrance exam dates of PhD. Important Dates for 2015: according to these dates new dates are expected in the same schedule.

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 08th April 2015

Last date for Receipt of through Proper Channel Applications: 15th April 2015

Download Admit Card: 18th May to 07th June 2015

Entrance Exam: 07th June 2015

Download Interview Letter: 20th June to 04th July 2015

Interview Date: 06th July 2015

Announcement of Result: 09th July 2015

Final Selection Letter: 10th to 29th July 2015

The minimum age for admission shall be 21 years

Essential Qualification for Admission:

Candidates have Bachelor’s Degree Programmes under 10+2+4 OR 10+2+3 OR 10+1+4 system and fulfill the qualifications as prescribed in this bulletin are eligible to apply for admission

For General/OBC candidates: At least 60% marks in their qualification of master degree program

For SC/ST/PC candidates:
Candidates have at least 55% marks in their qualification of master degree program

Last Date for Receipt of Application : April 2016

Download Admit Card: May -June 2016

Entrance examination will be held on: June 2016

Download Interview Letter: June -July, 2016

Announcement of Result: July 2016

Download Final Selection Letter: July -August , 2016


Eligibility Criteria:


Candidates must have obtained At least 60% marks or an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 out of 10.00 or 3.75 out of 5.00 OR 3.00 out of 4.00 OR 2.25 out of 3.00 in master degree program.


Candidates who appear at the Master’s Degree final year Examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply.


For General/OBC candidates:

At least 60% marks OR an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.50 out of 10.00 OR 3.75 out of 5.00 OR 3.00 out of 4.00 OR 2.25 out of 3.00 in Masters Degree Programme.


For SC/ST/PC candidates:

At least 55% marks OR OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 OR 3.50 out of 5.00 OR 2.80 out of 4.00 OR 2.10 out of 3.00 in Masters Degree Programme

Application Fee :

For general candidates: Rs. 1000/-
For reserved category aspirants: Rs. 500/-
Fee should be paid in form of demand draft in favor of Director, IARI payable at New Delhi
