Hyderabad University is a type of public research university.
It was established in the year 1973.
It is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Government of Andhra Pradesh has built an International standard shooting range at Gachibowli inside central university Hyderabad.

It is built on 80 acres which has all the facilities.

It comprises of 10 metres indoor weapon range, the range comprises of 42 lanes comprising 10 final lanes for finals.
The 25 m range has 32 lanes with all the facilities and fighting systems.
The 50 metres range has 42 lanes including 10 lanes for finals.
The trap, Double trap & skeet ranges are of International standards.

The RAAP has conducted 1st Afro-Asian Games, World Military Games, National Games and 3 Nationals, 2 coaching camps, 2 master competitions and many district and state level competitions.
