I have completed M.A. and now want to take admission in Ph.D. Course at Department of HSS (Humanities and Social Science) - IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur so please give me details for admission? Is there any entrance exam for admission?

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) of IIT KGP was established in 1951.

The Department offers Courses in many disciplines such as English Language & Literature, Communication Studies, Economics, German, Philosophy, Psychology, Human Resource Management, History, Sanskrit and Sociology.

It runs two major programs;
5 yr. integrated M Sc in Economics and
Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM)
