Travel expenses
Transferring an existing loan from another bank
Purchasing consumer durables or equipment
Any other personal needs and contingencies


Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must be existing HSBC customer

Applicant should be a resident Indian

The minimum age of the Applicant should be 21 years

The maximum age of the Applicant at loan maturity should be 58 years years for salaried and 65 years for the self employed

The minimum net annual income should be Rs.400,000 p.a. and above for Corporate
Employee Programme and Rs.500,000 and above for other customers


HSBC Personal Loan Interest Rates

Interest Rate (Monthly reducing balance)
12.25% p.a. to 17.50% p.a

Processing Fees
Upto 1% of the disbursed loan amount

Loan Tenure
1 year to 5 years

Guarantor Requirement
No guarantor required

Required Document Needed to apply for an HSBC Personal Loan

Signed application form with photograph
Copy of passport/voter ID card/driving license
Processing fee cheque
Last 3 months bank statement/6 months bank passbook
Documentation for salaried applicants:

Latest salary slip

Current dated salary certificate with the latest Form 16

Documentation for self-employed applicants:

Latest Bank statement
Latest ITR or Form 16
