The HPCL Examination Consists of two Phases

Written Test
Personal Interview

The HPCL Officer Trainee Written Examination Consists the following Features :

The written consists of two sections.

Section I consist of General Aptitude.
There will be 120 questions from Section I.
Section II consists of Technical Paper of chosen discipline.
There will be 40 questions from Section II.
The paper is of Objective type i.e Multiple Choice Questions.
