The Standard Chartered bank is provides facility for to fill cheque. When writing a cheque, customers are needed to use the cheque-writing format.

By doing so, customers will enjoy the confidence that their cheques are deposited in the right account and all the relevant information required for ease of clearance are there.

If some part of the cheque is written wrongly, a new cheque must be issued.

3 steps to write your cheque right:

Step1 Ensure that the payee is correctly written

Step2 Please ensure
The date format in order of day/ month/ year
The amount, both in words and figures match and begin as near to the left hand margin as possible.
Signature is as per banks record

Step3 Payee can write down his/her bank’s account details
