Re: How to Prepare for ILSAT

The exam ILSAT is for category Law and is conducted at Law level

ICFAI University organizes ILSAT exam for Law Courses.

The ICFAI Law School, Dehradun commenced with the first batch of five year integrated BBA LL.B (Hons) 5 years integrated law programme, in 2004, with due approval and recognition by the Bar Council Of India.

Reservation of seats :

OPEN FOR ALL (Scores of CLAT 2011 / National / State Level Law Entrance Tests will be given weightage.)

Eligibility :

General Eligibility : Eligibility for BBA, LL.B (Hons.)

Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Class XII or equivalent (best of the 5 subjects including English).Scores of CLAT / National / State Level Law Entrance Tests will be given weightage.

Age should be not more than 20 years as on the date of commencement of program classes.

ILSAT Exam Pattern :

The ISLAT entrance exam is a combination of total 5 sections namely;
-English
-General Knowledge
-Logical Reasoning
-Legal Aptitude
-Numerical Ability

In all 150 questions are being asked in the ILSAT 2015 entrance exam.

Total time provided in order to solve the 150 questions is 2 hours (120 minutes)
Each question carries 1 mark.

The ILSAT 2015 entrance exam sums up to a total of 150 marks

There has not been any information about the negative marking in the exam.

Here few Tips to preparation of this exam :


One should be well aware of not only the pattern but also the nature of the exam.

For preparing the General Knowledge, current affairs well, try and study in a group.

Applicants must know the various factors of the paper and prepare accordingly like critical and logical reasoning, reading speed, quick comprehending, accuracy, current affairs and mathematics.

Do not sit for hours and hours at a stretch.

Appear for more and more mock test in order to check your speed and accuracy.
