Hey, I am preparing for IGIDR Entrance exam , will you give me tips for doing preparation for MSc Eco Entrance examination of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) ? Is IGIDR published any book for preparation of its Entrance examination ?

How To Prepare For IGIDR Entrance


To start with, IGIDR entrance exam consist of 2 stages -

Online Test which consists of 3 sections -
Comprehension, Reasoning and Analytical ability
Basic Mathematics
Economics

For the first section one can refer to any related book used in CAT preparation. For Mathematics i.e 2nd section, 11th and 12th class mathematics will suffice.

For 3rd section basic economics of graduate level needs to be prepared for.

For 3rd section there is a sub choice of either writing economics or advanced mathematics paper.

2. Interview (For shortlisted candidates after the first stage is cleared)

Here candidates are mostly interviewed on topics covered in undergraduate Economics course. Hence syllabus of any renowned university like Delhi university or Kolkata university can be referred to while preparing for the same.

This would help you in better understanding and learning during 2 years of IGIDR too.
