Re: How Much Can I Make With an MBA

The details of the MBA salary increase has been mentioned below:

Post-MBA initial Pay as per the survey conducted by Mark Johnston, Keith Whittingham and Ronald Yeaple as they collected data from 550 MBA former students of the school for the 2010 peer-reviewed study published in the Journal of Education for Business

Post-MBA initial Pay was up 50% over Pre-MBA Pay for whole-time students. This is consistent with the 50-60% boost, The MBA Advantage, and with the 51% boost in 1997. This guides us that the 50% step-up in pay at graduation has been stable over time and across diverse schools surveyed.

As an example, if your pay before starting an MBA was say $50,000, you might expect to be presented $75,000 salary plus bonus (up 50%) at graduation.

For part-timers, Post-MBA initial Pay increased 41% over Pre-MBA Pay.

Fifth Year Pay after MBA

By the ending of five years post-MBA, Fifth Year Pay was up 80% in excess of Post-MBA Starting Pay for full-time students. Again, this most recent data is generally consistent with results reported in The MBA Advantage and in The Success Principle.

To carry on with the example, if you were paid $75,000 at graduation, you might start to earn 80% more, or $135,000, after five years on the job.

For graduates of the part-time program, the increase over Post-MBA Starting Pay was 56%.
