Eligibility
They must have passed class 12th from a recognized board.

Candidates must have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and must have passed in all these subjects separately too.

They must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective or functional).

Exam pattern
GGSIPU conducts IPU CET for different courses in offline mode (written test) in the month of April and May 2017.

Candidates have to fill the OMR Sheet carefully to submit their answer for any particular question.

The IPU CET 2017 has either objective or subjective questions depending on the course.

IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern includes the marking scheme and structure of the exam. The syllabus for different streams and courses is varied.

Some important highlights related to IPU CET 2017 Exam Pattern is given below:
+4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.

-1 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer (Except for MBBS, PGMC and SSMC exam).

Total Marks will be 600 (Except for MBBS, PGMC and SSMC exam).

There will be no negative marking in DM/MCH/SSMC exam
