CLEP means College Level Examination Program; it is a group of standardized tests that assess college-level knowledge in several subject areas that are administered at colleges and universities across the United States created by College Board.

CLEP offers 33 exams in five subject areas, covering material taught in courses that you may generally take in your first two years of college. By passing a CLEP exam, you can earn 3 to 12 college credits.

Exams cost $80.
