How many attempts for IES Exam for the candidates of OC category?

I am belonging from the OC category? I am already three times appearing in the IES Exam? Please tell me Number of attempts for IES Exam for the candidates of OC category? Also provide me its Mechanical Engineering syllabus?

The applicant who belongs to the OC category can appear in the IES Exam maximum 7 times. The IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

The applicants who have completed the engineering degree in one of the following can appear in this exam.

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The applicant who have completed the M.Sc degree or equivalent with Wireless communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering can also apply for this examination.

Number of attempts for IES exam :-
General student it = 4 times.
OBC Candidate = 7 times.
SC/ST candidate = 9 times

Mechanical Engineering Paper-1 Syllabus:

This part is for both objective and conventional type papers:
1) Thermodynamics-
Thermodynamics is a branch of science which is concerned with the relations between heat and other forms of energy involved in chemical and physical processes. It include Thermodynamics, Basic concepts, Open and Closed systems, Cycles and IC Engines.
Application to non-Flow and Flow processes, Zeroth, First and Second Law.
Availability, Tds and Irreversibility relations, Entropy.
Heat and work.
