To join the Defence Research and Development you need to complete your engineering degree with one of the following branches:

Aeronautics,
Armaments,
Combat vehicles,
Electronics,
Instrumentation engineering systems,
missiles,
Materials,
Naval systems,
Advanced computing,
Simulation
life sciences.

Eligibility criteria:
You should have completed Engineering/Technology in ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university of India.

Age Limit
28 years
