How to join Defense for Mechanical Engineers

Will you please tell me how to join defense after completion of Mechanical Engineering???

If you want to join Defence after Mechanical Engineering Graduation, then you can join it by appearing and passing CDS Exam. CDS Exam (Combined Services Exam) is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Tentative Schedule:
Notification of Examination -- August and March
Conduct of Examination -- February and August

CDS Exam Eligibility:

Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy

Educational Qualifications:

IMA & OTA
Must have passed degree of a recognized University or equivalent

Naval Academy
Must have passed B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Air Force Academy
You should possess B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg
