How to join Army other than CDS?

I want to join the Army but not through CDS exam? Please tell me is there any way to join Army other than CDS? Also tell me its eligibility?

As you say that you want to join the Army but not through CDS exam so you can join Army through NDA exam.

NDA stands for the NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY. The examination of the NDA is conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC.

This exam is conducted twice in a year to recruit the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defense Academy.

Eligibility

Nationality:
A candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

A candidate must be an unmarried male and have born not earlier than 2nd January 1996 and not later than 1st January 1999.

Educational Qualifications:

12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Physical Standards:

Candidates must be physically fit and medically according to physical standards for admission to National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

Date of notification: 27 December 2014

Last date of form submission: 23 JANUARY 2015

Date of NDA exam is 19th APRIL 2014
