Get teaching job in central government schools you need to appear in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, here are the details of this exam:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed graduation in the concern subject with good academic record from any recognized university of India.

Age limit:
The applicants must have 28 years of maximum age as on 01 Aug, 2014.

Important dates:
Online applications for KAR TET 2014 started from : 20 April , 2014
Closing date for submitting application form : 03 May , 2014
Last date for paying application fee and uploading images : 05 May , 2014
KAR TET 2014 admit card will be available : From 15 May , 2014 to 25 May , 2014
Karnataka TET exam 2014 will be on : 01 June , 2014
