To get into the National Institute of Technology Calicut for B.Tech, applicant need to qualify the Joint Entrance exam (JJE) conduced by the central board of secondary education, New Delhi on behalf of IITs.

The NIT Calicut offers the B.Tech courses in following Streams:

Chemical Engineering
Chemistry
Civil Engineering
Computer Science & Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Admission Procedure:

Step1: First applicant need to seat in Joint Entrance exam (JEE)

Eligibility Criteria for JEE:

Applicant need to pass 10+2 from recognized university.
Applicant need to pass 10+2 with English, physics, chemistry and Maths/biology subject
Applicant need to have at least 50% marks.

Exam pattern: There are objective type’s questions from following sections.
Physics
Chemistry
Maths

Step2: Get high scores in JEE exam
Step3: Participate in JEE counseling
Step4: if, student is eligible and qualify the cut off, then NIT Calicut will allocate to student.
