After completing graduation to join in Defense service you should go for CDS exam, this exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice. Here are CDS exam details: Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. Eligibility: The applicant must be a graduate from any recognized university with Physics and Mathematics as subjects or must have an engineering graduate degree. Paper Pattern CDS will be a 6 hour exam covering 3 subjects each of 100 marks. Candidates need to solve each paper in 2 hours. Syllabus: Elementary Mathematics:- Arithmetic Algebra Trigonometry Geometry Mensuration Statistics General Knowledge:- Questions are based on current topics, science, history of India, geography, etc. English:- This paper tests candidates' knowledge in the English language. |

Hey as per my idea yes as Women after Graduation you can apply for army through CDS exam and here I am providing you details :- Age Limit:- For Military Academy :- 19 years to 24 years For Officer Academy :- 19 years to 25 years For Navy Academy :- 19 years to 22 years For Air force Academy :- 19 years to 23 years Qualification required Candidate should be graduate from recognised university Physical standard Minimum acceptable height is and 152 cms for Women. The Chest should be well developed, fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. Better eye is 6/6 and worst eye is 6/9 with or without glass Running :- 2.4 Km in 15 minutes Push ups :- 13 nos Sits ups :- 25 nos Chin ups :- 6 nos Selection Process Written Test Interview Tests Medical Tests |
