Here I am giving you procedure to fill online form for Indian Forest Service Examination organized by union public service commission below : ==firstly go on official website of UPSC ==click on UPSC online application option given on down side of home page of it ===than click on application form for various examination of UPSC option ==so you will get list of all current exams forms on that page ==now form for IFS exam is not available whenever it will be publish you can get it on that page The new pattern of Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 Preliminary examination of Indian Forest Service will be combined with Civil Services Preliminary examination Paper I: General Studies - 200 Marks Paper II:Aptitude test - 200 Marks Total:400 Marks Main Examination: Paper Subject Marks (Total - 1400 marks) Paper I General English 300 marks Paper II General Knowledge 300 marks Paper III Optional Subject 1 (Paper 1) 200 marks Paper IV Optional Subject 1 (Paper 2) 200 marks Paper V Optional Subject 2 (Paper 1) 200 marks Paper VI Optional Subject 2 (Paper 2) 200 marks (B) Interview for Personality Test of such candidates as may be called by the Commission (Maximum marks: 300 marks) Indian Forest Service Syllabus Paper I General English Candidates will be required to write an essay in English. Other questions will be designed to test their understanding of English and workmanlike use of words. Passages will usually be set for summary or précis. Paper II General Knowledge- General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper will also include questions on Indian Polity including the political system and the Constitution of India, History of India and Geography of a nature which the candidate should be able to answer without special study.
