Re: How to get admission in ICWAI Course

The ICWA CWA exam conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) consists of three stages (Foundation / Intermediate/ Final).

Eligibility;
FOUNDATION COURSE:-
You should have pass Class 10 or equivalent exam from a recognized education higher secondary school board or institution.

Senior Secondary exam under 10+2 scheme of a recognized board or an examination recognized by the central government as equivalent thereto or should have passed the National Diploma in Commerce Examination directed by the AICTE or any State Board of Technical Education under the authority of the said All India Council, or the Diploma in Rural Service Examination conducted by the National Council of Higher Education.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE:-
The applicant should have passed Senior Secondary School examination (10+2) and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine arts/Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Exam of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Exam and Competency Level Part II Exam of CAT of the Institute.

FINAL COURSE:
Passed Intermediate

Graduation in any discipline except Fine Arts or equivalent

Stage I
Paper 5: Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) [100 marks]
Paper 6: Information Systems and Technology (IST) [100 marks]
Paper 7: Business Laws and Communication Skill (BLC) [100 marks]
Section I: Business Laws (70 Marks)
Section II: Communication Skill (30 Marks)
Paper 8: Business Taxation (BT) [100 marks]
Section I: Direct Tax (50 Marks)
Section II: Indirect Tax (50 Marks)

Stage II
Paper 9: Management Accounting - Performance Management [100 marks]
Paper 10: Advanced Financial Accounting [100 marks]
Paper 11: Auditing [100 marks]
Paper 12: Quantitative Methods [100 marks]
Mathematical Techniques (40 Marks)
Statistical Techniques (30 Marks)
Economic Techniques (30 Marks)
