Candidates who have completed B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering can work in both electrical engineering and electronics engineering fields. There are several government jobs which are available in these fields. If you want government jobs then at present there are two good options for you. First is to apply for Indian Engineering Service Exam else you can apply for Public Sector Undertaking jobs. The choice is yours. IES IES stands for Indian Engineering Service. If you have completed B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Electronics and Communication Engineering then you can apply for the Indian Engineering Service. The exam is conducted to fill vacancies in various government departments. The exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Eligibility You should be of Indian origin B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Electronics and Communication Engineering There are no percentage criteria Age limit is 21 to 30 years Public Sector Undertaking PSU is a company which is controlled by the government of India. Eligibility You should have B.Tech degree from a recognized university. Minimum of 60-65% percent marks. A valid GATE score, no more than 2 years old. There should be no pending backlog.
