How to Crack Common Admission Test
Can you tell me some good tips to crack Common Admission Test as I want to clear the Common Admission Test in one go? Also tell me the names of some of the reference books from which I can take guidance for studies for preparation of Common Admission Test?

CAT is coming with an aim to get admission in top IIMs and other top MBA colleges accepting CAT must be started well in advance in accordance with the revised CAT exam pattern. As the CAT preparation time goes on reducing month after month and with every passing day, you need to revise time and again your CAT preparation strategy. CAT exam will be on revised pattern. It will consist of 3 sections instead of 2 sections. Number of questions in CAT will be 100 comprising MCQs and Non-MCQs. The time limit is 3 hours and is divided into 1 hour for each of the 3 sections. According to the CAT toppers much will depend upon your preparation planning for next 5 months how much you will score. Some important tips for crack CAT: Go through the revised CAT exam pattern Read thoroughly the CAT syllabus Pick out your strong and weak areas in all the three sections Gather the best books and preparation material for CAT preparation Improve on your weak areas and monitor the improvement regularly Take as many CAT Mocks during your CAT preparation and do the analysis of each Mock. Without analysis of Mock, attempting a mock test may not be useful. If you are weak in VARC, reading different articles and novels, conversing in English with friends and even watching English TV series and movies will be helpful. Write down whatever new words you encounter after reading at least 5-6 newspaper articles every day Data Interpretation (DI) is considered a bit more time consuming. Start practicing on DI questions.
