Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2017) is a National Level Entrance Examination which is Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

It is an Online Computer Based Test.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the (General/ OBC) candidate is Rs. 1400/- and for the (PD/SC/ST) candidate is Rs. 700/- only

Exam Pattern


The questions in CMAT 2017 are divided in 4 sections with multiple choice questions.

The questionnaire is divided into the following questions and each section carries 25 questions having a maximum of 100 marks.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
Logical reasoning
Language comprehension
General awareness

You will score 4 marks for each right answer and lose 1 mark for each wrong answer.

You can also swap to any section at any point in time during the exam as per your convenience.

Preparation Tips :

• Candidate can solve the previous year unsolved papers.

• The candidates should also analyze each mock and sectional test that they take.

Commencement of Online Registration First week of November 2016

Conclusion of Online Registration 2nd week of December 2016

Issue of Admit Card 2nd week of January 2017

Test Date 3rd week of January 2017 (09:30 AM – 12:30 PM)

Result declaration Last week of January 2017 (7.00 PM)
