Programmes in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2015 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2015 conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2015 as given below

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a government-aided institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science.

Admission process

Last year the JEE Advanced scores were used to determine the eligibility criteria.

So it is expected that even this year, the same selection procedure will be applied.


You should have written JEE Main 2016 and JEE Advanced 2016.

In JEE Advanced 2016 paper, you must have secure the minimum prescribed (category-wise) marks


General Category:

You must have secured, at least, 100 marks out of 504 (i.e. 20% marks out of the total), along 8 marks out of 168 in each subject (i.e 5% marks out of the total)

Other Backward Class (Non- Creamy Layer)

You must score minimum of 90 marks out of 504

SC, ST and PwD Category:

You must have secured, at least, 50 marks out of 504
