How To Calculate Cut Off Marks For TNEA

I want to calculate cut off marks of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) so can you please tell me the how to calculate?

Anna University Counselling 2016 will be conducted based on the TNEA Rankings that is calculated based on the cut off marks .

TNEA Cut-Off Marks Calculation :

Mathematics Mark / 2
Physics Mark / 4
Chemistry Mark / 4

Example :

Maths = 181 ,Physics = 189 , Chemistry = 193

Maths =181/2 = 90.5 Physics = 189/4 = 47.5 Chemistry = 193/4 = 48.2

Engineering Cut off = Maths+ Physics+ Chemistry = 90.5+47.5+48.2 = 186.2

In Text :

Divide Maths Mark by 2,

Divide Physics Mark by 4

Divide Chemistry Mark by 4

Add All 3 Answers which is your cut off marks for TNEA 2016 counselling .

Anna university will consider higher to lower marks for engineering admissions, so candidate with higher cut off marks will have his / her counselling scheduled to be at first .
