Re: How to become a judge without being a lawyer?
You can not become a judge without being a lawyer, in the order to become a judge you should have some good experience and good name as a lawyer then after some 3 years + experience you may become a judge. You need to appear in the All India Bar Examination which test one's ability to be rated as the best advocate and a judge. Then you have to select the court which you want to work and have some idea about the place. To become a lawyer you need to hold BA. LLB degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university of India. Here are some steps to become a judge: Obtain an Undergraduate Degree Attend Law School and Obtain a Juris Doctor Pass the Bar and Other Exams Become Appointed or Elected to the Court Complete Judgeship Training |
