How to Apply For Transcripts in Osmania University

Osmania University is a public state university located in Hyderabad, India, founded in 1918 with the help of chief architect of Mahbub Ali Khan Nawab Sarwar Jung.


Transcripts from Osmania University consists of the marks of each subject from first to last semester on university letter-head.

Osmania University usually takes 20 working days to issue transcripts.

Procedure to get the Official Transcript :

2. Go to SBH Counter and fill the form for DD. The Service Charges are displayed on the Notice Board. Till Rs. 10,000, it is Rs.30 (Check for the latest charges). Pay the Cash at the Counter and DD is issued on the spot at the counter.

3. Take the DD to Enquiry COunter and take the Application form for Transcripts.

4. Fill in the required Details:
Hall Ticket No.
Year of Passed
DD Details
Transcripts required and number of copies of each certificate/memo
Enclosures - tick the copies submitted

Take the below to Counter 4 (For B.E degree holders)
DD
Filled Application Form
One copy of all the required certificates/memos
one copy of ID Proof

6. At the counter, the papers and DD are pinned together. Receipt is handed over which has the details of Due Date.

7. You need to go to the Examination Counter on/after the Due Date to collect the Transcripts. (Receipt is valid for 90 days from the date of issue)
Due Date is generally after 5 Working days.

Go to Examination branch and hand over the receipt at the BE counter (on first floor) and collect the Transcripts. You will get one envelope (stamped and signed across the flaps) for each set of transcripts.
