To become Drug Inspector you need to appear in the entrance examination which is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. Here are the details of this exam:


Eligibility:
The applicant should hold degree in Pharmacy/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Medicine with a minimum of 45% marks in the concerned exam of any recognized university/ college.


Paper pattern:
Paper I: Pharmacy
Total Marks Allotted: 200
Duration of Exam: 2 Hours


Paper II: General Knowledge
Total Allotted Marks: 50
Duration of Exam: 1 Hour


Application Fees:
Rs.100/- (Application Processing Fee), Rs.120/- (Examination Fee)
