Mains exam pattern

The AIPMT Exam shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Number of questions in the paper: 180.

Type of questions: Multiple choice questions with single answer correct.

Mode of exam: Pen and paper type exam.

Sections in the AIPMT question paper: Physics, chemistry, biology.
The paper will contain three sections in that order.
The biology section shall combine botany and zoology.
