Hindi Language Exam in AMIE

Can I give AMIE exam in Hindi language, give eligibility & application form, important dates?

If you pass diploma exam in Hindi language then you can give AMIE exam in Hindi Medium &
If you pass 10+2 then you can give AMIE exam from English Medium.

Here are important dates for AMIE Exam:

Exam Fee
Exam fee is Rs. 2000/-. DD should be in favour of "THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA) Payable at KOLKATA.

Overseas exam fee is $ 150.

The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers (India).

Eligibility

Applicants must have recognized 3-year Polytechnic Diploma , in any branch of engineering or +2/HSC/PDC with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 45% marks

Applicants required to pass the Institution Examinations, both in Revised Scheme, and Existing Scheme within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :

Section A : 6 Years
Section B : 6 Years

Paper Pattern

AIME exams are held twice a year, called Summer and Winter examinations.

Each paper is of 3 hours

There are two sections:

Section A - 3 papers
Section B - 5 papers

Important Dates :
The Summer 2015 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' will be on 06-12, 2015.

AMIE Exam Question paper

Hi buddy I want to know can I give Associate Member of The Institution of Engineers (India) (AMIE) exam in Hindi Language, if yes then plz let me know about the same here ??

As per me AMIE Sec-A and Sec-B examinations can be done in Hindi medium provided you have completed your Diploma in Hindi medium too. You have to get a certificate from principal of polytechnic stating that you have passed Diploma in Hindi medium. After that, send an application to IEI (enclosing letter from principal) requesting use of Hindi medium in AMIE exams.

Section A (NON-Diploma)

Technician Members of IEI only

Six years based on the date of enrolment as Technician member

Section A (Diploma)

Senior Technician Members of IEI only

Six years based on the date of enrolment as Senior Technician member

Section B

Technician and Senior Technician Members of IEI who have completed Section A in their respective Scheme or exempted from Section A.

Six years after completion of Section A

Corporate Members of IEI (FIE / MIE / AMIE) in any discipline provided he/she has not completed section B examination of IEI or Graduate degree in Engineering in the same discipline earlier.

Six years from the Registration of Section B Examination.
