Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is conducting HP Judicial Service Competitive Exam 2016 for the posts of Civil Judges (Junior Division).

H.P. Judicial service competitive examination-2016

Eligibility criteria :

Educational Qualification As on 05-January-2016: Candidates should possess degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Age Limit:

Minimum 22 years and maximum 30 years as on 05-January-2016. Relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.

Pay Scale: Rs. 27,700-44,770/-

Examination Fee:

For General category candidates: Rs.400/-

For SC/ ST/ OPRC category candidates: Rs.100/-

Candidates are recommended to pay the fee in form of system generated e-challan in cash at any branch of Punjab National Bank, or may also submit by using Visa/ Master Card/ Credit/ Debit Card.

Selection process:

Preliminary Examination of three papers of 100 Marks each specifically Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II, and Criminal Law; Main Examination of 900 marks, consisting of five papers, followed by viva voce of 100 marks.

Preliminary Examination Center: Shimla, and Dharamsala

Candidates should take print out of submitted online application and send it along with all requested documents/ certificates to the Controller of Examination, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla- 171002

Candidates should write as “Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination, 2016″ on the envelope.
