There is no standardized educational requirement for HHAs but for Admission for a Home Health Aide certificate program as requirement institutes may include :

1. Meeting immunization and health screening requirements
2. Passing a criminal background check
3. A high school diploma or equivalent.
4. Schools may require students to pass admissions testing to enter a program
5. or complete a clinical evaluation to graduate.
