The mission of Heritage International School is to create a child-centered system of education that permits students to become independent thinkers in their own limit. Admission The apposite age for admission of a child whose birthdates are prior to 31st of December on the following basis: Grade Age Junior Kindergarten 4 years Senior Kindergarten 5 years Grade 1 6 years Grade 2 7 years Grade 3 8 years Grade 4 9 years Grade 5 10 years Grade 6 11 years Grade 7 12 years Grade 8 13 years Grade 9 14 years Grade 10 15 years Grade 11 16 years Grade 12 17 years After contacting the Marketing Manager, parents are required to fill in the attached forms and present it to the school. An assessment exam will then be scheduled to assess the applying students. Documents required for Admission: Completely filled Application form 12 recent photos of the child Original or stamped copy of Birth Certificate Last attainted school report card (original) Curriculum Heritage International School is a Canadian International School using the Manitoba curriculum and providing a Manitoba High School Diploma, which allows it broad latitude in the design and implementation of its Manitoba curriculum at all levels of the school, Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. However, being on Egyptian soil, Heritage International School also maintains the high ideals of Egyptian education and social values. The school also complies with national, provincial, and municipal education policies. The kindergarten and elementary curricula of Heritage International School consist of a core--language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science (including computer education)--and supplements--physical education, music and visual arts. Within the Manitoba curriculum there is a particular emphasis on the use of interactive multimedia technology for instruction. And as part of our mission to build an intellectual student, Arabic and Religion will be a part of the curriculum starting Junior Kindergarten all the way to Grade 12. Egyptian Social studies will also be a part of the curriculum starting grade 4, as a part of the Arabic lessons.
