About the heritage:
There are 32 World Heritage Sites in India that are recognised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as of 2014.[1][2] These are places of importance of cultural or natural heritage as described in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, established in 1972.
