Re: Has the MBA become a worthless degree

MBA applications always go up during a bad economy. Nothing stops you from assuming that an MBA will help you launch your million-dollar venture.

If you attach the entire worth of your MBA degree to such dreams, youve already made it worthless.

When the premium you are paying for the brand doesnt justify the value you get from it, an MBA wont be worth its cost.

It's good to know that having an MBA can improve your earnings

MBAs, in general, commonly work in the products and services, technology, and finance and accounting industries.

More recent graduates have been finding jobs with technology and products and services companies while earlier ones found their place in the accounting and consulting industries.

In most situations, an MBA will contribute to a higher salary, more employment options, and greater value as an employee.

Obtaining an MBA gives you the flexibility to explore career options without having to start in an entry-level position.
