Re: Hart to Modbus RTU converter
HART Converters consist of the Smart HART loop interfaces and monitors; as well as, HART concentrator systems and HART-to-MODBUS RTU. The Modification Kit The modification kit consists of the following parts: • Terminal Block • 120Ω Termination Resistor • CSA Bracket for Grounding - only included in Modification Kit for transmitters with CSA approval (Model Code E6) • Spare Kit Modbus Label • IS Ground Label • Spare Part Kit Instruction • HART to Modbus Manual Supplement Type: I/O Interface Description: Accepts and "reads" the HART Digital Protocol Signal that rides on the 4-20mA wires of a Smart HART multivariable transmitter or valve; Converts the HART digital signal to serial (RS-485) Modbus RTU communication protocol to allow smart transmitters and valves to interface with Modbus-based systems. Connectivity: Modbus RTU Features: Provides additional analog signals proportional to a multivariable transmitter's primary, second, third or fourth variables, or to user-selectable valve parameters such as stem position; High/Low process and loop diagnostic alarms; Sets up as a Primary or Secondary Master, or in "Listen" Mode; Normal or Burst HART Modes; Large, 5-digit display; Isolated output channels Specifications: 4-Wire, Line-Powered (24Vdc); High-density and RFI-resistant aluminum DIN-style (G-type and Top Hat rails) |
