HAL Apprentice for Diploma Holders

Can a Diploma holder in Engineering apply for Apprentice post job in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited – HAL as I want to do so but have no idea if I can do so or not, please help me with this?

Apprentice Post

Eligibility Criteria:

1) Candidates must an Indian National.
2) Should possess a Degree/Diploma in Engineering from a recognized University/Board in India.
3) Should not have completed 3 years after obtaining engineering Degree/Diploma.
4) Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship Training or undergoing similar Apprenticeship Training or registered for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible.
5) Candidates with work experience of one year or more are not eligible.

Selection Process:

(a) A common merit list is prepared for each core branch of engineering based on marks scored in the qualifying examination.
(b) Reservation is applied as per Apprenticeship Act.
(c) Short listed candidates undergo medical exam and need to be declared medically fit by HAL Hospital.
(d) Medically fit candidate must obtain Police Clearance Certificate from the Commissioner / Superintendent of Police of your locality within the stipulated time.

Reservation:
The reservation for engagement of apprentices for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes,
Other Backward Classes and Physically handicapped, Ex-Servicemen, Children of Ex-Servicemen is 1:8, 1:20, 27:100, 3:100 and 3:100 respectively on the basis of total number of apprentices to be engaged in terms of Apprentices Act.1961.

Stipend:
The Stipend for Graduate Apprentices is Rs. 4984/- per month and for Diploma
Apprentices is Rs. 3542/- per month.
