The University Law College, established in the year 1948, is a constituent college of the Gauhati University and is the deemed Department of Law.

LLM Course details:

Eligibility

Law graduate from this university or any other recognized university with a minimum 50% marks

SC/ST/OBC /MOBC candidates will be computed on the basis of marks secured in all part examination leading to LL.B degree

Admission Test

The eligible candidate will have to appear in a statutory written admission test in Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Indian Panel Code and current legal problems.

The selection of candidates for admission to the LL.M 1st semester course will be made on the basis of their performance in statutory written admission test.
