Guru Nanak Dev University was established at Amritsar, India on 24 November 1969 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev's birth quincentenary celebrations.

The Guru Nanak Dev University may execute the Joint Entrance Test for admission to B. Ed course for colleges of Education situated in Punjab, allied to Punjab University

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to have at least 50 % in the Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree or the other qualification stated to be adequate for admission to the program. Any candidates having the 49.9 % or fewer could not be qualified.

The reservation for OBC, SC, or ST and other categories may be according to the rules of the State Government or the Central Government anything is relevant. There is 5 % relaxation in marks favoring OBC, SC, or ST or other categories for candidates.
