Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar invites applications for admission to Doctoral of Philosophy (PhD) program for the academic year 2018

The University offers following research programs leading to award of degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

PhD Exam Eligibility

Masters degree with at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana) in aggregate in the subject concerned or in an allied subject (or);

For Haryana School of Business: (a) Master's Degree or any other degree recognized equivalent thereto in Business Administration or Economics or Commerce or in allied subjects with at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana) or;

2-years Post Graduate Diploma in Management recognized as equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU with 55% marks (52.25% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana) or equivalent grade therein or;

Graduates having passed their final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 55% mark (52.25% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana)

Entrance Test pattern

The Entrance Test will be of two hours duration with 100 marks consisting of multiple choice questions.

The candidates may download the syllabus for entrance test from university website or may contact the Chairperson of respective Department. The respective Chairperson/Director of the Department/School shall upload the syllabi of the Entrance Test

For admission in Pre-Ph.D. program in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the question paper for entrance test will have three sections, namely (a) Pharmaceutical Chemistry, (b) Pharmaceutics (c) Pharmacognosy, of 100 marks each, and the candidate will be required to attempt any one section, depending upon his/her specialization at M.Pharm level

Declaration of result of Pre-PhD Exam: 3rd week of July 2018
