The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a state level medical entrance examination and is schedules to provide admission to eligible candidates in various medical courses such as MBBS, BDS, Homeopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Ayurved, Optometry etc.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Education Department, Government of Gujarat conduct GUJCET medical entrance examination and offer admission in different government and private colleges in Gujarat.

The applications will be available from March and examination will be held in May.

Eligibility:

Age:
Candidates have minimum age is 17 years

Education:
Candidates must have cleared Higher Secondary examination from a recognized university. Candidate should have scored minimum of 50% in the examination (for SC/ST it is 40%).


GUJCET Application Form For MBBS:


Expected dates:
Online registration forms will be available in the last week of March 2017.
Online registration will be closed in the 2nd week of April 2017.
The exam will be conducted in the month of May 2017.
Results will be announced in the last week of May or 1st week of June 2017

Examination Pattern

The duration of the examination is 180 minutes and there will be 120 MCQ type questions containing 1 mark for each question.

The examination paper will be available both in Hindi, Gujarati and English.

There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.

The subject-wise distribution of questions is:
Physics (40 questions)- 40 marks
Chemistry (40 questions)- 40 marks
Biology/Mathematics (40 questions)- 40 marks
Total (120 questions)- 120 marks
