The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance test which is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The GUJCET is held for admission to engineering and degree/diploma pharmacy courses in government, grant in aid and self finance institutes of Gujarat. Candidates can appear this entrance test after passing their 10+2 examination. Register for Gujarat Common Entrance Test admission: Important dates: Issue of application form 23rd March 2018 Last date to apply 7th April 2018 Availability of admit card 17th April 2018 Exam date 23rd April 2018 Physics/Chemistry (10:00 AM 12:00 PM) Biology (1:00 PM 2:00 PM) Mathematics (4:00 PM 5:00 PM) Answer key release 26th April 2018 Result Declaration 10th May 2018 Counselling date 26th April 2018 Documents are needed for admission: 12th Standard Mark Sheet 10th Standard Mark Sheet Transfer Certificate Category Certificate (if applicable) Passport Size photographs Statistics Paper Registered Candidates Appeared Candidates Physics & Chemistry 136498 134, 979 Mathematics 62,761 61, 981 Biology 74,048 73,171 Eligibility: Candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who will be completing their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination will also be eligible for admission. Minimum score of 45% has to be secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The reserved category candidates will have to score 40% marks. Exam Pattern of GUJCET: Examination Mode Offline Duration of Examination: 3 hours (120 minutes for Physics & Chemistry and 60 minutes for Mathematics) Type of Questions Multiple Choice Questions (Objective) Language English, Hindi and Gujarati Sections Physics & Chemistry 80 Questions (40 Questions each) Mathematics - 40 Questions Number of Questions 120 Questions Minimum Marks of the Examination 120 Marks Marking Scheme Marks specified for each question by the conducting authority will be allotted.
