The Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Courses (ACPPGMEC) is responsible to administer Gujarat PG medical admission. Through Gujarat PG medical admissions, a total of 1285 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 668 Masters of Surgery (MS) and 280 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats will be offered.

Candidates who qualified in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET PG) can apply for Gujarat PG Medical Admission. Selection is carried out on the basis of NEET PG merit list.

Gujarat PG Medical Eligibility Criteria 2020

One shall be an Indian Citizen

A Non-Resident Indian candidate who wishes to be admitted to Non-Resident Indian seats shall and have completed MBBS / BDS or equivalent degree from a medical institution within or outside India and should have qualified NEET-PG criteria defined by the competent authority.

One must have recognized MBBS or BDS degree under the law of Government of Gujarat and should have finished the mandatory rotating internship by 31 March or before.

One shall have to appear in NEET-PG Entrance Examination conducted for the year for which admission is being held in the respective year for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses and qualify in NEET-PG as per criteria laid down by the competent authority

One who has secured admission under these rules in any year is not eligible for further admission to any other course until the course in which one has secured admission is completed.
