The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2007 at Graphic Era University, Dehradun and has grown over the years into one of the finest centers of training in the field of civil engineering.

The Department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and two-year courses leading to Masters degree in two major specializations of civil engineering (viz., Structural Engineering and Geo-informatics Engineering) as well as PhD in Civil Engineering.

M.Tech Geo-Informatics

Eligibility:
B.Tech (CE/ AE/ GI/ CS/ EC/ IT), B.Sc.(4 YEARS)-Forestery/ Horticulture/ Geograpgy, M.Sc/ MA (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Gephysics/ Geography/ GI/ Phycics/ Maths/ Oceanography/ Eniviornmental Science)

Doctoral Programmes

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering

Eligibility:
Masters Degree from any AIU/UGC/AICTE recognized University/ Institutions or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University. A minimum of 55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50% marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale for SC/ST candidates).

Admission Procedure:
Admissions are on the basis of GATE/NET/SLET scores or written test followed by interview by the Department concerned with due attention to National/State Reservation.
