GPSC : - Gujrat Public Service Commission

GPSC conducts exam for the posts in Gujarat Civil Services are:

Deputy Superintendent of Police

Section Officer-Sachivalaya

Section Officer-Vidhansabha

Taluka Development Officer

Labour Officer

District Inspector of Land Record

Eligibility: -

Qualifications:

Candidates must be graduate in any discipline from recognized university.

Scheme of Examination -

1.Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type)
2.Main Examination (Written Examination)
3.Personality test

A. Preliminary Examination:
The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers with objective type questions.

Paper – I General Studies 150 marks.

Paper – II One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects 200 marks

Total 350 marks.

Main Examination:
The main Examination consists of written examination which is of conventional type

Subject Marks
Paper - I Gujrati 200 marks
Paper - II English 200 marks
Paper – III General studies 200 marks
Paper – IV & V Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects. Each subject will have two papers 200 marks for each paper
TOTAL 1000 marks

Eligibility for Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC)

Candidate must have a bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks .

Age limit:- 21to 28 years
