Kerala Technological University follows the Grade Point Calculation (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for a mixture of B.E/B.Tech courses instead of Calculating Percentage.

CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. GPA stands for Grade Point Average.

P (Pass) 4 45% and above but less than 50%
F (Fail) 0 Less than 45%
FE 0 Failed due to eligibility criteria [7-o]

How To Calculate Gpa-

Cumulative Grade Point Average can be estimated from formula given by KTU as

CGPA= sum(credits*grade point)/sum(grade point)
