Can you tell me if I can apply for government jobs like Defense with 60% in B.E ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering)?

If one wants to enter Defense sector with ECE background one must have a good knowledge of technical subjects which is very important to crack any government exam. The competition is very tough as many aspirants try to grab the jobs.

The age limit for that organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provides only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

One must be completed graduation with above 60% then you are eligible.

You can join defense through the following entries:-
CDS -Combined defense service this exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
This exam is for candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline.
Age limit for Army 19-24 years
Age limit for Navy 18-22 years
Age limit for Air force 19-23 years

SSC- Short Service Commission
A candidate can also join defense as a officer through SSC entrance exam .The exam is conducted by UPSC .A candidate can serve in defense for limited period

Age limit for Army 19-24 years
Age limit for Navy 18-22 years
Age limit for Air force 19-23 years

TGS -Technical Graduate Scheme:
In it a candidate must have degree in engineering

One can also join MTNL as a JTO
One can also appear for IAS

for applying ion these Sectors you may cleared the Examination conducted for the posts the Examination for these govt sectors jobs are as follow:

For jobs in PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, IOCL, ONGC, SAIL and COAL INDIA ,you have to clear GATE exam

For getting job in Telecom Units of public sector like Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL),Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited(MTNL),you have to clear the written exam conducted by the respective units like JTO in BSNL.
For getting into defence sector, you have to clear CDS exam.
For getting jobs in Nationalized Banks as Clerks and Officers ,you have to give IBPS exam for assistants(clerks)and po.
For getting jobs in Railways in different posts like Junior Engineer, Section Engineer, Station Master, you have to clear IRS and RRB exams.
