A Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate academic degree in the field of pharmacy. It has been superseded by the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees. Pharmaceutical industries offer various jobs to B. Pharma or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree holders. There are many government activities in Pharmaceutical sector; B.Pharm degree holder can easily get a job in this sector.

Jobs in Government Sector

Candidates can apply to different job openings provided by Central government as well as State governments. They can appear for exams conducted by UPSC, PSC, SSC, Defense service etc.

Central Government Jobs
Job openings in pharmaceutical section of government hospitals, dispensaries etc.
Drug regulator
Drug inspector
Bachelors in pharmacy can also find job option as drug analyst
They are also appointed as assistants for chemical examination in prohibition.

Government Hospitals
Pharmacists
After getting one year experience in the related area you can apply for Pharmacy Board for registration as Pharmacist.

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) along with NET qualification enables the aspirant to apply for Professor Post in government colleges.
