Government Bank exam Eligibility Criteria
I have done B.Tech in Computer Science and now I want to apply for Bank exam so can you please tell me its eligibility criteria?

Yes you have done B.Tech so you can apply for Bank exam because it requires graduation degree and B.Tech is also a graduation degree You can apply through SBI, IBPS or many others for the post of Clerk and PO Eligibility for Bank Exams Bank Clerk exam: Candidates must be citizen of India 10+2 or equivalent from recognized board Age limit: 18 to 28 years There is age relaxation for reserved categories. 3 years for OBC 5 years for SC/ST 10 years for PWD Bank PO Exam: Candidates must be citizen of India Graduation degree from recognized University Age limit: 21 to 30 years There is age relaxation for reserved categories. 3 years for OBC 5 years for SC/ST 10 years for PWD |

The following is the eligibility criteria who want to get a bank job: Firstly, to appear in any of the bank recruitment process candidate needs to have pass graduation in any discipline with a good percentage of marks. There are mainly two posts to which a graduate can apply for: Clerical post – The post means the candidate wants to apply for the jobs of clerk, clerk-cum-cashier, typist, steno, agricultural clerks, data entry operators and telephone operators Probationary officer post – The post means the candidate wants to apply for the job of probationary officers. The candidate is on probation which is for two years. The performance of the candidates during their period of training determines the designation that the candidates will receive after training is over. Eligibility Criteria for Clerks The candidate must be a citizen of India. If the candidate wants to apply for the clerical post in a bank, one needs to have pass graduation and also +2 with 60% or more marks. The candidate must be between the age group of 18-28 years. And relaxation age limit is there for SC/ST/OBC/PH or any other reserved category. In Public Sector banks, Rs 140000/- is the average salary for entry level clerks per annum. Eligibility Criteria for Probationary Officers (PO) The candidate must be a citizen of India. For the post of the probation officer in a bank, the candidate’s age should be at least 21 years and maximum of 30 years. The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university with 55 % – 60 % marks aggregate. The percentage of marks for this post varies from bank to bank. The candidate must have good knowledge of computers and specially MS Office. In Public Sector banks, Rs. 200000/- is the approx salary an officer receives per annum. Entrance Exam There is an Entrance Exam for both the posts. After that there is an GD and PI round. Syllabus for PO Objective type English Language {Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc} General Awareness, Marketing and Computers Data Analysis and Interpretation Reasoning based questions of High Level Descriptive Paper Letter Writing Paragraph Writing Essay Writing Precise Writing Reading Comprehension There are 2 papers that are conducted and are divided according question type as we have discussed above – Paper 1 and Paper 2 Bank Clerk Syllabus (1) General Awareness (2) General English (3) Quantitative Aptitude (4) Reasoning Ability (5) Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge |

I got 53% in +2 but i got above 65% in 10th and UG. I am eligible to write bank exam or not
