Good Score in GATE but not in Engg Admission to IITs

Can I get admission in top IITs if I have Good Score in GATE but not in Engg, please provide details???

Yes, you are GATE qualified, so that does not matter if you get low score in engineering.

Only GATE score matters for admission in top IITs.

Common criteria for admission in M.Tech:

The applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology /Architecture from educational Institutions approved by AICTE/Government

Have valid GATE score.
